Project description – In March 2025, Antibiotice S.A. started the project financed by European funds “AntibioticeSkills: Students’ Improvement and Their Adaptation on the Labor Market”, intended for the training of students in the technical and pharmaceutical fields. Over the course of 24 months, 251 students will benefit from internships on the Antibiotice platform, acquiring essential skills for integration into the labor market.
The internships take place at the company’s headquarters, in various departments – from production and research to engineering, where students work alongside employees, applying the knowledge gained during their studies in practice. Collaboration with partner universities ensures that the internships are aligned with industry requirements. partner institutions include:

- Faculty of Pharmacy of the “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iasi

Project Title – EDUCATION IN ACTION: IMPROVING THE ACCESSIBILITY AND RELEVANCE OF VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION THROUGH INTERNSHIPS WITHIN ANTIBIOTICE SA

EU contribution – 2,000,616.76 lei from ERDF/ESF+/CF/FTJ and 343,707.37 lei from the national budget.
Project Description – With the support of the European Social Fund, this project provides practical learning opportunities for 254 students from Iași. Participants, coming from the “Petru Poni” Technological High School, the “Mihail Sturdza” Technical College and the Iași Technological High School of Mechatronics and Automation, will learn directly from our specialists the practical applications of the professions for which they are trained. The internships take place in various locations of the company, including production sites, spaces that ensure the maintenance and production of utilities, analytical research laboratories and quality control.
Students will acquire skills in professions such as:
- Laboratory chemist technician
- Operator in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry (dual vocational education)
- Electromechanic
- Mechatronic technician
- Low voltage electrician (dual vocational education)
- Automation technician
- Electrical technician (dual vocational education).
In order for students to benefit from training that is as close as possible to industry requirements, specialists from partner high schools collaborate to update and adapt the practical training curriculum, in line with technological developments and standards in the pharmaceutical field.
Implementation period – 36 months, starting December 1, 2024 – November 30, 2027
