Photovoltaic power plant project
Photovoltaic power plant project
Project title – PNRR: FUNDS FOR A MODERN AND REFORMED ROMANIA!
Funder – Ministry of Energy
Financing Program – PNRR Component C6, Energy, Investment Measure I.1, Supporting investments in new electricity production capacities from renewable sources of wind and solar energy.
Total project value – 17,482,586.93 lei
EU contribution – 8,729,144.72 lei non-refundable value and 4,078,620.00 lei state aid value
Project description – The photovoltaic power plant project involved the implementation of solutions from Parapet, a company specialized in construction in the renewable sector, covering design, mechanical and electrical infrastructure, as well as project management.
The photovoltaic power plant ensures the production of an annual amount of electricity, which will cover 26.4% of the operational needs of the Iași industrial platform, based on consumption recorded in 2021. The new facility will produce, on average, 3,500 MWh/year, reducing the carbon footprint by over 2,000 tons annually and will thus contribute to developing resilience to climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The development of the photovoltaic park was carried out in compliance with the sustainability principle: DNSH (Do No Significant Harm), ensuring safe and efficient construction, from design to decommissioning, without affecting the environment at any stage.
This project supports the company’s sustainability strategy, focused on measures that lead to reducing carbon emissions and increasing energy independence.
Implementation period: November 21, 2022 – January 31, 2024.

Intelligent energy consumption monitoring system within Antibiotice SA
Project title – INTELLIGENT ENERGY CONSUMPTION MONITORING SYSTEM WITHIN ANTIBIOTICE S.A.
Funder – Ministry of Investments and European Projects
Financing Program – Large Infrastructure Operational Program 2014-2020 (Priority Axis 6), POIM 6.2 – Intelligent energy consumption monitoring system
Total project value – 1,286,158.30 lei
EU contribution – 1,080,805.28 lei non-refundable value, respectively 771,375.00 from the European Regional Development Fund, 136,125.00 from the National Budget.
Project description – The project provides for the installation of over 160 meters that measure the consumption of electricity, natural gas and compressed air. The recorded data is transmitted online via a fiber optic network to a central server, where a dedicated software monitors consumption in real time.
The financing contract was signed with the Ministry of European Funds on December 8, 2017, and the system became operational in January 2019.
The system automatically generates reports at predetermined intervals, and users can permanently access the information necessary for analyzing the consumption of installations and technological processes. The introduction of this energy consumption monitoring system allows the identification of energy efficiency measures, thus contributing to the reduction of consumption and related costs.
Implementation period – 26 months, between 18.11.2016 and 21.12.2018.
Antibiotice SA, the main producer of generic anti-infective drugs in Romania, the world leader in the active substance Nystatin, is currently implementing a project with European Funds POIM 6.2 – Intelligent energy consumption monitoring system within Antibiotice SA.
The project is part of the permanent concern of Antibiotice specialists to increase energy efficiency, in accordance with the specific legislation on energy efficiency in Romania.
A financing contract was concluded for this project with the Ministry of Regional Development, Public Administration and European Funds.
The general objective of the project is “Reducing the specific energy consumption of Antibiotice SA”.
The project consists of implementing a functional intelligent metering system, in order to monitor the consumption of electricity, natural gas and compressed air.

Energy consumption monitoring
From January 2019, the “Intelligent Energy Consumption Monitoring System within Antibiotice SA” will become operational, a 230,000 euro project, of which 200,000 euro are non-reimbursable European funds.
Consumption data, which are recorded at the level of the departments and other users of the 162 meters (for electricity, natural gas and compressed air), will be transmitted to a central server in real time, through a fiber optic network.
A dedicated software will allow the automatic transmission, to all users, of reports containing the recorded energy consumption.
After analyzing this data, the energy performances of the equipment will be established, in order to identify measures to reduce energy consumption, their associated costs and improve the energy behavior of users.
