We operate with a constant focus on the growth and development of people in the communities where we work, through active participation in social initiatives and investments that have a positive impact.
Our company runs both its own charitable and humanitarian projects, as well as educational and cultural programs through the “Antibiotice – Science and Soul” Foundation. We act with the aim of improving access to healthcare services, promoting the development of skills and knowledge, protecting the environment, and supporting social initiatives. Through all these efforts, we aim to build a better future for the benefit of future generations.
We Plant Oxygen in the Community
The voluntary involvement of Antibiotice employees in such projects demonstrates responsible behavior aimed at improving the company’s environmental impact, thus contributing to mitigating the effects of climate change. In recent years, over 700 employees have voluntarily participated in these initiatives organized by our company, planting more than 2,500 saplings and 6,000 shrubs.
Donate an Hour to the Earth. Connect with Nature!
For 15 consecutive years, we have actively participated in the global environmental event Earth Hour by symbolically turning off the lights. At Antibiotice, this event involved switching off lights for one hour in areas where possible, such as the Administrative and Quality pavilions, Gate 1, and Friendship Park.
Be Responsible – Don’t Treat the Environment with Medicines!
Through the three editions of the internal campaign “Responsible for Future Generations! Collecting Expired Medicines Responsibly!”, organized around the National Sustainability Day, we have managed to collect 308.5 kg of expired or unused medicines and dietary supplements from company employees.
• The first edition, launched in 2023, aimed to raise employees’ awareness of the importance of proper collection and disposal of expired medicines.
• The second edition continued the initiative, strengthening employees’ engagement in sustainability projects.
• The third edition, held in 2025, involved not only company employees but also students from the Faculty of Pharmacy within the “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iași, participating in the AntibioticeSkills project, together with the company’s pharmacists and colleagues from Environmental Protection and Logistics & Warehousing.
During each one-week campaign, employees brought their expired or unused medicines to a dedicated collection point on the Iași industrial site. The collected medicines were then handed over to a specialized company for safe destruction, ensuring no harm to the environment.
This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to sustainability and addresses the expectations expressed by stakeholders during the sustainability report consultation process, demonstrating Antibiotice’s concrete involvement in environmental protection and community health.
June 1st in Friendship Park a+
Friendship Park a+, located near our company, is a place of fun, joy, and celebration for children in the community and the children of our employees on the occasion of International Children’s Day. For over 16 years, Antibiotice has supported events dedicated to employees’ children in celebration of their special day.
