Since December 2010, Antibiotice owns the Integrated Environmental Authorization issued by the Regional Environmental Protection Agency Bacau, with a validity of 10 years. This proves that Antibiotice is aligned to the environmental compliance regulations and the emissions of pollutants in air, water and soil are below the limits stipulated by the legislation.
In addition, in 2007 Antibiotice implemented the Environmental Management System, in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001: 2004, part of the Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety), which has been recertified by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance in 2014.
Responsibility towards the environment and raising awareness among the employees concerning the need to use resources responsibly has materialized in social awareness programs, such as the one entitled “Be pro Nature! Put Soul in it!”.
Moreover, in 2008, Antibiotice joined the action Earth Hour, which became the largest worldwide environmental campaign in history. Together with organizations and institutions around the globe, Antibiotice shuts down completely for one hour all outdoor lighting systems, as a symbolical gesture urging us for a more responsible management of resources.
