Open Doors for the Community – Dialogue and Responsibility for Future Generations

Between June 25–28, our company opened its doors to the community, in an initiative of transparency and open dialogue designed to bring us closer to the people around us.

More than 250 visitors – residents from Valea Lupului, Rediu, Miroslava, Uricani, and Iași – together with representatives of local authorities, had the opportunity to discover how the company responsibly manufactures medicines while reducing its environmental impact and creating added value for the community through investments in modern technologies and green energy.

June 25 was dedicated to local authorities, providing an excellent opportunity to strengthen partnerships with decision-makers and to present the development directions through which Antibiotice contributes to the well-being of the community.

On June 27–28, visitors – from children over the age of 7 to seniors – joined guided tours of the company’s main investment objectives:

• The new topical products manufacturing unit
• The modern wastewater treatment plant, a key pillar of environmental protection
• The photovoltaic park, part of our green energy strategy
• The new logistics infrastructure, supporting efficiency and sustainable operations

These visits offered a concrete opportunity to showcase how Antibiotice supports public health and invests in sustainable solutions: in-house green energy production, reduction of natural resource consumption and landfill waste, as well as community projects dedicated to protecting the environment and supporting people. Campaigns such as “Donate Blood” or the collection of expired medicines were shared as examples of the company’s direct involvement in community life.

At the end of the tours, participants completed perception surveys designed to provide the company with an authentic picture of how it is perceived in the community and to identify new directions for collaboration. The results will be integrated into the 2025 Sustainability Statement, helping to strengthen long-term and authentic partnerships.

Through initiatives such as the Open Doors Day, Antibiotice reaffirms its commitment to open dialogue and cooperation with the community, demonstrating that public health, innovation, and social responsibility are the pillars of a sustainable future.
