The Antibiotice Company’s employees were Santa’s little helpers for 34 needy children

Today, December 23rd 2015, in a festive atmosphere, 34 needy children were visited by Santa’s little helpers at their very homes, in the village of Scânteia, County Iaşi. The Antibiotice „Science and Soul” Foundation has thus managed to bring joy to the hearts of children with limited material ressources and with health issues in this rural area for whom the visit of Santa Claus is the happiest time of the year.DSC_1982

With the help of teachers, educators or by themselves, children aged 4 to 11 years have written down everything they wanted to receive from Santa. Their little letters then got to several of the Antibiotice Company employees who enthusiastically assumed the role of “Santa’s little helpers” fulfilling the children’s very wishes.

As they originate from disadvantaged backgrounds these children wished to receive only simple gifts such as tale books, slippers, dolls or toy cars, bananas, oranges and sweets, but Santa has endeavored to provide more than that. During the ceremony that was held today, December 23rd at the Cultural Centre of the village, the children have hugged Santa’s little helpers and asked them to tell Santa how well they behaved and how happy they were to discover that the surprises and the gifts they received have fulfilled their wishes.

“This is the third consecutive year the Antibiotice “Science and soul” Foundation organizes this campaign that makes us go back down the memory lane in our hearts and in our minds to our own childhood. Our colleagues joined enthusiastically the Foundation’s project and thus managed to bring a touch of joy to children that Santa may have never DSC_1889visited before. We want to thank the employees of the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection of Iaşi for their help and support” stated Ioana Tode, president of the Antibiotice “Science and Soul” Foundation.
